These days I tend to look like someone who does your taxes but once I was an aspiring Pop Star.

Music has been a major part of my life. Forty years of working as a professional singer and songwriter . I’ve worked alongside great musicians and singers and have been fortunate enough to have experienced so many amazing moments. From being on Hey Hey It’s Saturday, having a song on Baz Lurhmann’s Something for Everybody Compilation to tv ads and being on more Wedding Videos than a professional bridesmaid.

In the Novel Sing To Me, music runs through the narrative and is itself a major character.

When the book arrives.

I am not a great writer. I have writer friends who are far more talented and whom I admire and learn from. What I lack (my grammar is a direct result of growing up in the 70’s when everyone was too busy dealing with fashion that was flammable and made you smell like a Bosnian farmer) and sentence structure and spelling that can be messy (I need to stop buying wine and flirting with the young bottle shop guy ) I make up for in being a decent story teller.

My debut novel ‘Sing To Me’ is to be released on 1st September. I received the first copy last night (found a spelling mistake already- so my style)

I am so proud of this story, and soon I will be sending it out into the world. I am scared because I don’t have a thick skin. This loud, inappropriate Croatian lady puts on a show but she’s a sensitive little thing really.
